This is the first real album I release under the Dip Deluxe name, and in a way it is also a farewell album. I am a Norwegian man and I have grown tired of singing in English. I have no issue with the English language, but I don't think it is right that I should be writing songs primarily in a language that is not my own. I will probably keep making some songs in English from time to time, but as of today I don't intend to focus my energy on it.
I am also moving away from what I have done previously to focus on instrumental music which I feel more comfortable with. I have not really uploaded anything under the Dip Deluxe name that I take very seriously at all, and I want to do more music that I respect. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed Dip Deluxe, it's been one of the most worthwhile aspects of my life, and it's taught me a lot about songwriting. I've also gotten some good friends through SoundCloud, which I assume will be the only ones reading this.
I hope you enjoy this collection of songs that no one should really listen to.
